Awards

Three awards will be given to outstanding researchers at the RaAM 11 conference. All winners will be announced during the closing session on July 4th, 2016.

RaAM 11 Conference Best PhD Prize

This prize is given to the best paper presented by a PhD student. The four candidates were selected based on the highest score given by the scientific committee and will present their papers in a special session on Saturday, July 2nd, 10.30 a.m. The Prize is sponsored by Walter de Gruyter GmbH.

RaAM 11 Best Poster Prize

All poster presentations are nominated for the prize. The poster presentations will start on Sunday, July 3rd, during the coffee break at 3.30 p.m. The best poster prize is sponsored by John Benjamins Publishing.

RaAM Early Career Research Paper Prize

The RaAM Early Career Research Paper Prize aims to encourage the production and dissemination of high quality research in the field of metaphor. It will be awarded for the paper that best demonstrates the following qualities, reflecting the stated aims of the RaAM organisation: originality, rigour in research methodology, contribution to metaphor studies, relevance and significance to a real world context.
